He is a natural-born leader. I really wanted to punch Matt hard on the face! In Puppy Love, Petey Drinkell discovers the true nature of power, its role in sexual relationships, and his own role in the power structure.

Based upon outward appearances, one would regard the couple as being rather mainstream. After the tragedies of book two, more agony and ecstasy await Matt and Petey-a shooting, an unexpected pregnancy, a big gay wedding, and tons of passionate, kinky sex scenes. I was also not a fan of t I made it through about chapter 4 in this book so I didn’t get to what a lot of people’s reviews are annoyed about cheating, drinking urine, etc.
In the end it all comes to the wishes of the individual. He writes gay-themed fiction and has published six novels.
I decided to track down another story by Jeff after reading his short story Invisible. If you actually have to ,ove your novel with an explanation of a character then obviously you didn’t properly create the character in the book. Some of the scenes were a little out there, but I never got the feeling that it was for the frno of shock value. This book really scares me. The fact that a grown man is called Petey by everyone and loving it really rubs me up the wrong way but I jsff that’s just me.
Whether or not Matt is perfect is irrelevant, Petey believes he’s perfect for him. And the other reason is the previously mentioned Petey’s behavior. He is a natural-born leader.

If you respect individuals then you’ll probably be as repulsed as I was. The character of Petey Petey is our first person narrator. He is a natural-born leader. Even when Matt referred to Petey as a “fag” during their scenes, it didn’t bother me at all because they both seemed to enjoy that kind of language in their play.
He has no thoughts of himself, or of his sister, just Matt. I’m a bad person. They were going together.
If Matt were not willing to lose his pup, he would agree to being faithful, as a true sign of respect and love for his sub. I had to read it on my knees before her and when she gave me her forgiveness, I had to kiss her feet to thank her for her forgiveness.
Petey struggles with his identity both as a homosexual and as a submissive. I have never read a more self-loathing, confidence-lacking sub who is so naive as to believe that being walked over by his ‘owner’ is the only way this sort of relationship can work, which in some ways is then reinforced by the other, “more experienced” jefc he befriends.

Puppy Love (Puppy Love, #1) by Jeff Erno
Matt and Petey are a young gay couple in love. It was too difficult to watch Petey constantly put himself down and continually worship Matt. Jeff Erno currently lives in southern Michigan. Matt made him apologize for his rudeness, like he had made him do several other times.
View all 5 comments. He is obsessed with Matt, treats him like a god, and is absolutely blind to his faults.
