Loved this story and the whole concept. Besides, I was snowed in and couldn’t get to the library. Incubus Dreams Sep 26, Kerry rated it it was amazing Shelves: Hamilton Anita is attending a friend’s wedding when Nathaniel, her pomme de sang, makes known in no uncertain terms that he wants to take the relationship to the next level. Collection Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter: Dead Ice The anthologies don’t give me enough time or depth to really enjoy them enough.
Love these short story compilations! I read all the books from Anita Blake series and as much as I love Nathaniel I don’t think that was the best choice for this book because she has better scenes than this I liked Cravings.
In fact, this one with Damon and Nathaniel its the one I like the least. Overall, the book was a one star for me. Second off, I think it’s a rip-off for an author to write a series and then continue the story line in a short story in a book such as this, especially if that short story is going to be referred to in subsequent books.
The story just needs to make sense. I’ve read this one too. Molly stumbles on a male being of some kind who zaps into her presence on a beach in Galveston Texas.

Thought it was funny and sweet. It’s a funny, quirky tale of a girl vampire making her way to Minneapolis to pay homage to the new Queen. Louis with her family. Liked this short story the best, might try something else by York. I got this book because of one of my favorite authors – Laurell K. Thankfully I got this from a book swap so it didn’t cost me a penny. Oct 18, Sherily rated it really liked it. It focuses on one of her subjects, a very new vamp named Andrea, who feels an undeniable compulsion to come pay homage to the new queen.
The main character is a blind tarot card reader, which is a bit of a change.
No trivia or quizzes yet. Lots of Laugh out loud moments. Grant is drawn to Antonia blind tarot reader thinking he will just get a reading but ends up getting a room at her closed Bed and Breakfast.
Rating is just for the undead series. These two bicker the entire way.
All in all, Cravings is a fun read but I’m still ticked off with Laurell because her readers need to read it to continue the series. To me that is cheating. As my first encounter with MJD, this novella earned her a precious “Hey, look for other things by her when you get a cravungs nod. I enjoyed Eileen Wilks story about the succubus.
I respect Hamilton for being a pioneer for the paranormal fiction when the only other thing out there was Anne Rice yuck. A tale of woman meets man with amnesia that old shtickit’s a well told story that made me hungry for more time with these main characters.
Mistral’s Kiss 6. Read it previously also. Loved that the woman is a tarot reader, as the cravjngs spent talking about the cards was fantastic. Hamiltln Lick of Frost 7. Return to Book Page.

The characters have this unique chemistry, and it doesn’t get bogged down in boring details. The Lunatic Cafe 5. Not really caring for her, while I found the story enjoyable. If I wanted to read those I’d read the full book, not just several chapters.
Mar 21, Colleen rated it it was ok.
