It seemed possible that someone else, maybe the editor, went back and put in the headers to ensure the reader knew what they were suppose to take away from the book. Not quite what I was hoping for. This was a reasonably entertaining read – the author has experience of many interesting conversations – but, having read it, I cannot say that it improved the art of my conversations.

I am glad I read this book bu I think in the end this book served its purpose because I am more conscious about how I listen and speak with others in my everyday life. Written by a London-based therapist, Walk with your Wolf is part memoir, part self-help and part reflection on the connection we must re-establish with our natural, intuitive selves if cathfrine are to live healthy, fulfilling lives.

I did like how the book is organized — a chapter for each different aspect of conversation, each with a set of “Rules” — but she kills the momentum with her writing. Jul 02, Diane rated it it was ok Shelves: I recommend you mostly skim the book. I read it in e-book format, but I may purchase a hard copy so I can flip through it again at my leisure. It also inspired me to contemplate over the great joy I do have in a good conversation and reflect on specific conversations I have been a part of.

While I did enjoy some points and chapters at the beginning of the book ex: Things like confidence, charm, and the likes which are so crucial to being a person other people want to converse with cannot be given to us by the author. View all 6 comments.
